Windmills Developed as part of our Coast events in 2007, this fantastic workshop shows how electricity-generating windmills work. Use our windmills to generate electricity to light a torch, power a buzzer and even find treasure!This workshop is suitable for 8-14 year olds and their families. |

Rough Science Rovers This workshop is based on Jonathan Hare's Mars Rover, from Rough Science (series IV). The workshop, designed for families with children between 7 and 11 is a great group activity, designed to bring physics and chemistry to life. |
The Creative Science Centre also runs a series of Rough Science workshops. The website is also a great resource for experiments to do at school or at home.
